Easy-to-use-tool

Hundreds of millions of people, especially in developing countries, have uncorrected refractive errors affecting their daily livelihood and leading to illiteracy and poverty. This project is developing a low-cost, rapid, easy-to-use tool to measure the refractive error and provide data for corrective eyeglass prescription. This tool could be used by individuals in homes, schools or locations where an optometrist is not available.

EyeNetra

The technology from this project was spun out into a startup company, EyeNetra.
