Preston Keller

Preston Keller is a scientist, entrepreneur, executive and venture capitalist with over 20 years of developing and launching new products and companies. His experience includes commercializing new technologies for gene editing, synthetic biology, genomic medicines, protein research, 3D tissue imaging, and ML/AI tools for multiomic data interpretation.
Preston earned his PhD in Neuroscience at Washington University in St. Louis before transitioning to business where he felt he could have a bigger impact on human health by supporting the commercialization of new drugs and life science research tools. He is currently leading EPAM’s Lab of the Future initiative to support pharma and biotech’s efforts to thoughtfully integrate digital technologies including generative AI to reimagine drug discovery, development and manufacturing. Prior to EPAM, Preston held executive and board roles in venture capital, Fortune 50 life science companies, and was a successful entrepreneur. With experience taking ideas from academia to successful company exits, Preston is uniquely qualified to guide early stage companies through their initial start up and growth phases.
