Babak Kia

Babak is faculty at the Boston University College of Engineering, where for the past two decades he has focused on the confluence of Education, Innovation and Technology in the Engineering curriculum.  

Additionally, Babak has extensive industrial and Founder experience in the AI/ML, Robotics, Deep tech and the Biotech sectors. He is on the Advisory Board of a number of the nation’s most impactful technology startups, an All Star mentor at Techstars, and most recently accepted the Deval L. Patrick Commonwealth Innovation Award on behalf of MassChallenge mentors for contribution to the innovation community in Massachusetts and beyond.
